Instrument Technician (dewas)
Job Description
• Maintaining equipment: Instrument technicians maintain, test, inspect, and calibrate equipment to ensure it's in good working order. They may also perform routine maintenance and testing.
• Installing and calibrating: Instrument technicians install, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment and technologies.
• Diagnosing faults: Instrument technicians use scientific and analytic computer software to diagnose faults.
• Researching: Instrument technicians research new industry instrumentation.
• Training: Instrument technicians may train clients on operation and safety instructions.
• Documenting: Instrument technicians document all work performed using computer-based service reporting procedures.
• Complying with regulations: Instrument technicians ensure FDA compliance or meet other legal requirements as applicable.
• Collaborating: Instrument technicians may collaborate with electronic engineers and other plant professionals.
• Following policies: Instrument technicians follow plant policies and repair procedures.
• Wearing safety equipment: Instrument technicians wear proper safety equipment in appropriate areas.
