Qualifications and Skills

Experience with PLC programming to ensure the smooth operation and integration of various control processes. Proficiency in calibration procedures to maintain the precision and accuracy of instrumentation. Familiarity with HART communication protocol for effective device communication and data retrieval. Understanding of Fieldbus systems to enhance the efficiency and reliability of operations. Ability to conduct loop checks for verifying the proper functioning of control loops. Experience with pneumatic control systems for controlling industrial processes effectively. Competence in documentation and reporting to accurately keep track of maintenance and calibration activities. Strong adherence to safety compliance standards to ensure workplace safety and regulatory adherence.

Roles and Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and calibration of instruments ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Conduct inspections and troubleshooting on various instrumentation equipment to address any issues promptly. Program and configure PLCs to control and automate industrial processes efficiently. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and upgrade instrumentation systems and procedures. Maintain detailed records of instrumentation calibrations, maintenance activities, and field data. Ensure compliance with industry standards and practices during all instrumentation tasks and projects. Train junior staff and support team members in understanding instrumentation processes and systems. Proactively identify opportunities for system improvements and implement best practices in instrumentation.
