Key Responsibilities:
• Instructional Support:
• Conduct laboratory sessions for courses related to computer science, electronics, and related fields.
• Provide guidance and support to students during lab exercises and projects.
• Assist in the preparation and development of lab materials and assignments.
• Evaluate and grade student performance in lab activities.
• Lab Management:
• Maintain and manage lab equipment and software, ensuring all tools and technology are operational and up-to-date.
• Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for lab use.
• Monitor inventory of lab supplies and request replacements as necessary.
• Student Interaction:
• Offer one-on-one assistance to students to support their learning and address any technical issues.
• Conduct workshops or tutorials to enhance students' understanding of complex concepts.
• Provide feedback to students to support their academic and professional growth.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with faculty members to align lab activities with course objectives and curriculum.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development and assessment.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Previous experience as a lab instructor or in a similar educational support role is preferred.
• Practical experience with computer systems, electronics, and related technologies.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of computer science and electronics principles.
• Proficiency in lab equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
• Certifications: (If applicable)
• Relevant certifications in electronics or computer technology are a plus.
