content for GE Grid Software Products
\xef\x82\xb7 Design and develop training material, including but not limited to ILT/VILT,
eLearning, activities, assessments etc.
\xef\x82\xb7 Create supporting material/media (audio transcript, video transcript,
simulations, role plays, games, etc.)
\xef\x82\xb7 Manage project tasks, coordinate with SMEs, content writers and deliver
projects on timeEssential Responsibilities\xef\x82\xb7 Create effective training materials mapping the client\xe2\x80\x99s needs, such as
Instruction-led training/ Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT), web-based
training, simulations, videos, courses, curriculum, student guides or
training manuals, and performance support content.
\xef\x82\xb7 Conduct Training Needs analysis, Audience Analysis, Develop Training
Strategy
\xef\x82\xb7 Liaise with Subject Matter Expert to collate all essential content, gather and
review the curated content from the SMEs/client, create Course Outline,
Learning Objectives, Evaluation strategies.
\xef\x82\xb7 Work collaboratively with SMEs in creating storyboard for various learning
solutions.
\xef\x82\xb7 Write storyboards by understanding the raw content and repurposing it
based on audience, content, and other considerations.
\xef\x82\xb7 Create High-level Design Document.
\xef\x82\xb7 Apply Blooms levels of learning when stating course objectives and creating
content that matches them.
\xef\x82\xb7 Create visual storyboards with engaging learning activities and compelling
course content that enhances retention and transfer for ILTs and WBTs
\xef\x82\xb7 Develop standards and templates for the proposed learning solutions.
\xef\x82\xb7 Develop evaluation questionnaires based on the Instructional Design and
evaluation strategy.
\xef\x82\xb7 Conduct peer reviews of the training material, plan and organize reviews of
the training materials with all key stakeholders.
\xef\x82\xb7 Redesign content, if needed, to ensure it matches the learner\xe2\x80\x99s needs.
\xef\x82\xb7 Develop assessment instruments, author WBTs using authoring tools like
Articulate, Storyline 360, Rise, Captivate,
\xef\x82\xb7 Maintain project documentation and course folders (course index -
complete record of a course \xe2\x80\x93 for media or any assets - complete record of
the asset)
\xef\x82\xb7 Create prototypes (even rapid prototyping) to make the discussions more
focused and constructive.
\xef\x82\xb7 Coordinate with project development team.
\xef\x82\xb7 Understand and apply the ADDIE model.
\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to work in an Agile framework.Qualifications/Requirements \xef\x82\xb7 Graduate and above (Masters in English/Communicative English/Mass
Communication or Diploma/Degree in Instructional Design preferred)
\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of tools: MS office suite, Google Suite, Articulate Storyline 360 and
Rise (advanced level), Captivate, HTML, CSS.
\xef\x82\xb7 Key personal attribute: Open to learning new skills and tools, awareness of the
learning industry latest trends, eye for details, flexibility to adapt to new
situations.
\xef\x82\xb7 Strong verbal and written communication skills, consulting abilities.
\xef\x82\xb7 Proven track record collaborating within a team environment\xef\x82\xb7 5 - 15 years of relevant Instructional Design experience in developing different
types of learning interventions, such as Application Simulations, Video Scripts,
ILTs/VILTs, WBTs, Job Aids, Reference Guides, and Immersive learnings (AR/VR)
etc.
