Job Overview:

Virtual Captains is looking for a driven and experienced Inside Sales Representative with a strong background in sales, business development, and growth, specifically within the SaaS and IT services industries. The ideal candidate will have experience generating leads in international markets, effectively qualifying and prioritising opportunities, and driving business growth on a global scale. You will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities and expanding the company's reach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation:
• Identify and nurture leads from international markets, particularly in the SaaS and IT services sectors.
• Build a robust pipeline by exploring multiple outreach channels.
• Lead Qualification:
• Qualify leads based on key criteria to ensure the highest-quality opportunities are targeted.
• Conduct research to better understand client needs and align them with our service offerings.
• Lead Prioritisation & Scoring:
• Prioritise leads based on potential revenue and readiness to engage.
• Use data-driven insights to focus on high-priority prospects.
• Sales Process Management:
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to facilitate a smooth handoff from lead generation to closing deals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead information and follow-up activities.
• Relationship Building:
• Cultivate strong relationships with prospects through tailored communication and consistent follow-up.
• Conduct meetings and presentations to align our value proposition with client needs.
• Market Analysis:
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to uncover new opportunities.
• Analyse market dynamics and client pain points to identify potential growth areas.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 2+ years in business development, sales, or growth, with a focus on SaaS and IT services.
• Proven ability to generate and manage qualified leads in international markets.
• Sales & Communication Skills:
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver tailored presentations.
• Analytical & Organisational Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise leads based on business potential.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and tasks efficiently.
• Interpersonal & Soft Skills:
• Highly motivated, proactive, and self-driven.
• Excellent relationship-building and team collaboration skills.
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
