Position Summary: Inside Sales rep will be responsible for building and maintaining strong professional relationships with their assigned distributor or direct accounts. This position will be the first point of contact for customers to reach out to with any inquiries or concerns. ISR will be required to effectively communicate via email/phone with many people internally and externally to ensure customers questions or concerns are handled in a timely manner. ISR will need to have excellent time management skills and a very positive attitude. Problem solving and critical/tactical thinking will be needed to effectively resolve situations and make strategic decisions. ISR should be able to be flexible and handle situations on a case-by-case basis. Being a team player is a must.
Work Environment: The successful candidate will be positioned as a full-time employee at Abracon's Center of Excellence located in Bangalore, India. The candidate will engage in work-from-home arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review customer's inquiries and recommend proper products to customers.
• Review project information, provide quotations and apply samples to customers.
• Follow up major quotes to optimize the conversion rate of turning quotes to orders.
• Be sensitive about market situation and adaptable to adjust price to maximize company's profit and ensure project's maintenance.
• Follow up sample shipping schedules and update sample status to RSMs on a regular basis.
• Review split request and ensure regional business get protected without loss.
• Enter and verify customers' orders and ensure it's placed correctly.
• Work closely with customers to resolve any order discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Regularly review customers' backlog to minimize the delta between ETD and CR.
• Review any order changes submitted and once approved update system accurately.
• Expedite any urgent or late orders and proactively follow up the schedule with operation and update customers.
• Review customer's cancellation request carefully to protect our business's share at distribution channel/customer side.
• Coordinate quarterly stock rotation and support company's special programs.
• Coordinate quality-related documentation. Assist RSMs on quality cases.
• Set up new accounts if applicable.
• Assis Finance team to collect overdue payment.
• Provide back-up support whenever needed.
• Coordinate Marcom activities to promote the company's brand and products.
• Arrange custom clearance if applicable.
• Emails - most communication to/from customers is received via email
• Manage email inbox effectively and in an organized manner
• Respond to customers in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively via email
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree Required.
• Min 2 yr. related professional inside sales experience with proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
• Demonstrated experience with Power Point, Excel and other Microsoft applications.
• Personal accountability and strong time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as successfully contribute to a work team as an individual contributor.
