Reports to: Sales Manager / Operations Manager

Job Overview:

The Inside Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing and driving sales for the cafe through both inbound and outbound sales activities. This includes managing customer inquiries, processing orders, handling customer relationships, and supporting marketing efforts. The role requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and Order Management:
• Handle customer inquiries and provide information about the cafe's menu, services, promotions, and events.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, including phone orders, email inquiries, and online orders.
• Upsell and cross-sell menu items to customers based on their preferences.
• Maintain an organized record of orders and customer details in the sales system.
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with repeat and potential customers.
• Respond promptly to customer feedback, complaints, and queries.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely solutions and support.
• Collect customer data to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities for future sales.
• Coordination and Collaboration:
• Work closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to assist with promotional campaigns, events, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain accurate sales records and reports, tracking performance against targets.
• Sales Reporting and Analytics:
• Monitor sales performance and track key metrics such as daily sales volume, average order value, and customer retention.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
• Use sales data to identify growth opportunities and recommend strategies for increasing sales.
• Administrative Support:
• Manage and maintain customer database and sales records.
• Assist in scheduling events, group bookings, or catering orders.
• Support the Sales Manager in administrative tasks related to sales activities and customer relations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or retail (experience in a food & beverage or cafe environment is a plus).
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in sales software or CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or similar).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in business, hospitality, or related field is a plus.
• Personal Traits:
• Positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to handle pressure and meet sales targets.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Working Conditions:

• Working hours may vary depending on cafe operating hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
