The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java development, cloud migration, and a deep understanding of both AWS and Azure services. The person needs to be a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer with a strong background in both front-end and back-end development and a solid understanding of Azure cloud services and DevOps practices.Responsibilities:Primary Responsibility:Lead the migration of Java applications from AWS to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.Assess existing applications and infrastructure to develop a comprehensive migration strategy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test migration solutions.Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security in the Azure environment.Provide technical guidance and support throughout the migration process.Document migration processes, best practices, and lessons learned.Develop and maintain scalable web applications/ Microservices using Java and Spring Boot.Provide technical guidance and support throughout the migration process.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.Key Skills and Qualifications:Backend Development - Java/Spring Boot (Must have) :Strong foundation in backend development with Java frameworks.Experience in building and maintaining microservices and enterprise-level applications.Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) & Docker (Must have):Proficient in containerization and orchestrating applications in Kubernetes environments, specifically on Azure. Experience with ACR, Docker, and Helm Charts.Azure Services (Must Have):General knowledge of Azure services and infrastructure.Strong knowledge in Azure App Service, Key Vault, Storage Account, App Insights, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL DB.Proficiency in deploying Java code on Azure Functions and containers (Azure Container Instances or AKS).Strong DevOps experience and mindset, with familiarity in Azure DevOps (ADO).Front-End Development (Good to have):Proficiency in JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.Database Management (Must have):Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).Cloud Services (Good to have):Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and services (Azure App Service, AWS Lambda).Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS).API Development:Proficiency in developing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.Experience with API management and integration.Additional Skills:Knowledge of Python, Node.js, and .NET is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Experience:6+ years of experience in full-stack development.Experience in cloud migration projects, particularly AWS to Azure.Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and automated provisioning.Mandatory skill sets:Java , Spring Boot, Microservices, AKS, Docker, Kubernetes, Knowledge of Azure Services and Infra, Azure App service, Key vault, storage account, Azure functions and containers, Devops, experinece in relational database : MySQL , PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Restful API, API Management and IntegrationPreferred skill sets:Javascript, angular, html, css, Python, Node.js, .NETYears of experience required:5 to 8 yearsEducation qualification:Graduate Engineer or Management GraduateEducation (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified) Degrees/Field of Study required: Bachelor DegreeDegrees/Field of Study preferred:Certifications (if blank, certifications not specified)Required Skills Java, Spring BootOptional Skills JavaScriptDesired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified)Travel RequirementsAvailable for Work Visa Sponsorship?Government Clearance Required?Job Posting End Date
