Purchase & Logistics: Lead a purchasing and logistic team to ensure the material availability on time, on spec and on quality The purchasing scope consists of Machines, Assemblies, Components and Spares and services Act as a part of BMG international PUL-team and promote the international cooperation based on standard processes Optimize a purchasing strategy and organization with the digital purchasing, logistic process, use agile process, market study . Responsible for Logistics management - Inbound & Outbound including Imports of Parts & Exports of Machinery. Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services and keeps up with trends in procurement Necessary documentation, Monitoring progress & Managing reports and audit preparations. Vendor development with focus on Quality, Cost & Delivery. Collaboration with BMGx locations and MIS reporting to Lead plant: BMG-1DE Contract Labor Management and responsible for detective controls for purchase function IT Co-ordination & Digitalization: Development, Validation and Support activities for digitalization considering analytics / visualization tools and support rollout of new commercial software\'s in international network. Co-ordinate project tasks with BMGww SAP experts and BD (CI network) Ensuring Compliance and documentation as per guidelines Qualifications BE Mechanical / Electronics & Communication 12 years experience in purchase manager role and leading a team Experience in supply chain management and logistics in machine tool domain Specialist knowledge in SAP for procurement process High Passion for digitalization and its integration, developing interdisciplinary approaches and products for internal customers and presenting complex issues in a simple manner Additional Information Good exposure to the materials function in the Plant Good communication skills for daily interaction with different BMG locations ww Adaptability to different regions, cultures, languages and time zones Fulfill different standard requirements, legal requirements
