Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) is a 100% subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH . Established in 2009, in Naganathapura - Bengaluru, RBAI is primarily focused in manufacturing electronic products for the automotive sector. RBAI has consistently added an average of one product every year resulting in a wide range of products comprising - Engine Control Units (ECU) for both 4W and 2W, Body Control Modules (BCM), ECUs for ABS, DC-DC Converters, iTraMS (Intelligent communication control unit) to name a few. RBAI also produces products for eMobility like MCU (Motor control Unit), C-Box (Communication Box), VCUs (Vehicle Control Unit), Central gateway modules and is geared up for other futuristic products. RBAI with its diverse portfolio, not only caters to local markets, but also exports products to all major global customers. Regular Task:

Data management and governance

1.Responsibility with respect to data management in the plant and introduction of data governance at AE.
2.Governance of guidelines of standardization of manufacturing data according to the definitions by the Functional Data officer(DF).
3.Support to standardize and clean up product and process data, support to run product specific projects or contribution as part of a global team to standardize data.
4.Coordination of introduction of Business Glossary and Data Dictionary, execution of governance in plant area.
5.Proposals of new plant related business terms in business glossary for alignment with other plants via Functional DF.
6.Monitoring digitalized plant business rules and define corrective actions if necessary, monitoring of business rules defined by RB-central of AE-central.
7.Active management in order to maintain a high level of data quality and data consistency in the platform by means of data governance tools.
8.Overview about platform, data architecture and tools.
9.The platform will be required to be constantly extended by future data sources which will require further integration efforts where DF supports the activities to introduce the AE. 10.Standard Data Architecture at the plant by coordination of the local activities and supports integration of new data sources and tools.
11.Owner of any local data governance instance (ex. EDC, Biz Glossary, Data Dictionary,\xe2\x80\xa6).
12.Overview and early involvement in new projects planned at plant to ensure data management from early stage on.

Data Engineer:

1. Responsible for Plant Analytical platform management (Hadoop) and tableau server.

2. Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources .

3. Working with SQL, hadoop and Cloud based \'big data\' technologies.

4. Create and maintain data Engg, pipeline and architecture in refernce to AE data management.

5.Trouble shooting of Hadoop and Tableau issues at first level and coordinating with AE for second level resolution.

Data Analytics:

1. Enabling Data driven plant + drive data analytics use cases across plant - Descriptive , Diagnostics, Predictive and Prescriptive.

2. Data mining, data management, statistical analysis, data presentation and Define data schema

3. Build analytical tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insighths into key business performance metrics

Periodic Task:

1.Organization of plant data network of data stewards in every function
2.Coordinates required trainings In plant, drive data strategy road map acorss the organization
3.Coordination and support central team in execution of analyical platform maintainence activities
4.Time to Time support in providing plant line related information for maintaining data quality checks of existing data pipelines
5.High response on the issue related to tableau, shift book etc.

Occasional Task:

1.Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
2.work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in data systems.
3.Coordination with central tem in Up gradation / migration of existing analytical platform.
4.Coordination of data / information needs of the users in the plant, e.g. is key-stakeholder on implementation of new solutions in the plant (local solution/standard solution) with respect to data management, e.g. DF is reponsible for data going into the platform but not for the usage of the information.
5.Support for plant DFs with organization of data flows to external users with approval by lord of the data (including security issues).
6.Coordination of availability plant wide data from other areas as logistics (SAP data*) ), QM reports, FCM environmental data, which are not dedicated to an individual VS.
7.Creation of awareness and roll-out of the virtual Data organization at the plants to ensure that different functions receive the appropriate trainings to handle and access data properly.
8.Establishment of training concepts for plant data officers and data stewards of different domains (plant, technology development, BPS&IE, product development).
9.Organization of the Data officers community with information exchange (delegated).

Qualifications

3 to 4 years relevant job experience in Data Management and Engineering, Exposure to international teams/customers.

B.E in CS or E&C, or relevant education
