Your role will be instrumental in shaping the future at one of the world\'s largest and most influential companies.As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platforms team, you apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Continue to evolve your technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of your aligned domain of expertise.Job responsibilities

• Applies technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope
• Drives a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies
• Works with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes
• Executes creative solutions for the design, development, and technical troubleshooting for problems of moderate complexity
• Strongly considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and advises on mitigation actions
• This position will involve day to day incident and problem management of major impacting data issues globally, proactive infrastructure management.
• Subject Matter Expert in any 2-3 Technologies attending bridge calls, address tickets, and work hand in hand with the Product Engineering organizations on items such as bug fixes, design changes, and code upgrades.
• Advocates for customer base when faced with Infrastructure or Business Critical issues.
• Ability to articulate and share clear, concise complex technical findings to management in understandable terms.
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals.
• Point of escalation for 40x, 50x and 60x level team members.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on Infrastructure Engineer concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments
• Deep knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
• Network Domain Expert knowledge of the service, functional area or Infrastructure supported and interdependencies.
• Experience in Network Operation production and infrastructure support. Understand Network infrastructure components and how they are tracked and managed in various systems.
• Proven experience managing various large-scale enterprise network topologies including Routing & Switching (Cisco & Arista LAN, WAN & MAN), Datacenter Technologies (Nexus, ASR, VXLAN, Cisco ACI, Arista Fabric), Wireless (Cisco Prime), Network Security & Services (Firewall Fortinet/Check Point), F5 Load Balancers (LTM, GTM, ASM), Proxy (Blue Coat), Optical Transport (Cisco/Ciena), Etc. Certifications in these areas preferred.
• Expert in Multicast, low latency networks, and market data related technologies.
• Strong experience in Protocol Analyzers (Cpacket, BigSwtich, Wireshark, Riverbed).
• Strong experience in capacity/monitoring management tools (Splunk, SevOne, Thousand Eyes).
• Ability to use (or learn) scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, etc.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Strong communication skills - written and verbal
• Executes within a customer-centric environment.
• Network certified : CCNP/CCIE, Certification on Firewall (Checkpoint/Fortinet), F5 Load balancer, Proxy, etc will be added advantage.
