We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Monitoring Consultant to join our dynamic team and ensure the seamless operation and administration of our IT infrastructure.Position Overview:As an Infrastructure Monitoring Consultant, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the monitoring tools and systems that keep our IT infrastructure running smoothly. You will use your expertise in popular monitoring tools to detect and resolve issues, optimize performance, and ensure the reliability of our services.Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor IT Infrastructure: Use industry-leading monitoring tools to continuously monitor servers, networks, applications, and other critical infrastructure components.
• Administration: Administer and maintain monitoring tools and platforms, ensuring they are properly configured and optimized for performance.
• Issue Detection and Resolution: Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues before they impact business operations.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze monitoring data to identify opportunities for performance improvements and implement appropriate solutions.
• Alerts and Notifications: Configure and manage alerting systems to ensure timely notification of critical issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of monitoring configurations, incidents, and resolutions. Generate and present regular reports on infrastructure performance and health.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, DevOps, and Security to ensure a coordinated approach to infrastructure management.
• Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in infrastructure monitoring and administration.

• Experience: 3-4 years of experience in infrastructure monitoring and administration.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with one or more of the following monitoring tools: Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, Datadog, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), SolarWinds, AppDynamics.
• Scripting Knowledge: Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Perl for automation tasks.
• Operating Systems: Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Networking: Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Linux Professional Institute Certification, etc.) are a plus.

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their monitoring services.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
