Infrastructure IT Audit - Manager
Who we are looking for
We are looking for an Infrastructure IT Audit, Officer to join our IT Audit team within State Street\'s Corporate Audit Division. This role will participate in audit engagements primarily focused on infrastructure related technologies (e.g., servers, network, databases, storage, middleware, etc.) primarily managed by the Global Technology Services (GTS) Business Unit. In this role, you will operate as part of dynamic and cross functional teams responsible for the execution of individual audit engagements. Working under the direction of the audit project lead, you will carry out a variety of responsibilities, which include: interfacing with business partners, executing control design assessments and operational effectiveness testing, developing audit test conclusions and drafting summary observations. You will also play a role in the onboarding and coaching of junior staff and support various departmental initiatives. This role can be based out of either Bangalore, India or Toronto, Ontario (Canada).

Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for
As a Infrastructure IT Audit, Officer you will:
  • Evaluate and test internal controls and apply information technology audit skills.
  • Work as part of an international team with global stakeholders in new and changing situations where there may not always be a readily apparent solution.
  • Perform the planning, assessment, testing and issue validation phases of audits covering various types of infrastructure technologies, as well as selected attestations globally.
  • Perform independent and objective assessments of risks and controls to improve risk management practices.
  • Assess systems and supporting controls for compliance with laws, regulations, company policies and meet business needs.
  • Prepare audit work papers to ensure compliance with the division\'s risk-based audit methodology.
  • Use excellent writing skills to succinctly communicate complicated technical issues in business terms
  • Influence change and provide insights on business initiatives, including pre / post system implementations.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; or, an advanced degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or Systems Engineering preferred.
  • Preferred professional certification(s): CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM.
  • Experience in auditing information technology general controls (ITGCs).
  • 5-7 years of experience executing or auditing the following technology-related areas:
    • Financial services operational processes and technology
    • Enterprise security controls frameworks
    • IT Asset Management
    • Lifecycle Management
    • Technology Governance
    • Privileged Access Management
    • Authentication Solutions
    • Resiliency and Business Continuity Management
    • Cloud Solutions (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
    • Network Segmentation and Separation Solutions
    • Platform and Configuration Hardening Practices
    • Servers, Network Devices, and Storage Solutions
    • Middleware Technologies
    • Database Technologies
    • Data Centers
    • End User / Desktop Support Functions
    • Performance Monitoring

Additional requirements
While majority of the time you will work from your primary location, some domestic and international travel may be required to a variety of locations where State Street operates.
