The Team : The team works in agile environment and adheres to all principles of Agile. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work with a team of intelligent, ambitious and hard-working software professionals. The team is independent in driving all decisions and is responsible for the architecture, design and quick turnaround of development of our products with high quality. Responsibilities : Work in the agile environment and adhere to all DevOps best practices. Active co-operation/collaboration with the teams at various geographic locations Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Provide prompt response and support in resolving critical issues (along with the development team ) May require after hours/weekend work for production implementations What we\'re looking for : Technical Qualifications : Bachelor\'s/PG degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent. 1 - 2 years of strong industry experience in DevOps Tooling and infrastructure automation. Broad knowledge of software development and software testing methodologies along with change and configuration management practices in Linux-based environments Strong Windows System Administration & Automation skills Knowledge of cloud environments preferably AWS Experience with automated deployment, continuous integration, and release engineering tools (e.g. Jenkins) Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible) Knowledge of container based environment (Docker Containers) Strong scripting skills (Powershell, Python, Maven, Shell) Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Prior consulting, advisory, or professional services experience is preferred Solid technical expertise and troubleshooting skills Experience with source control tools such as GIT Soft Skills Qualifications : Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and debugging skills Ability to build environments, systems, and solutions from the ground up Quick learner Service-oriented ability to supply services to a large R&D group Team-oriented attitude Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and ensure tasks are completed on schedule At S&P Global Platts, we provide the insights you make better-informed trading and business decisions with confidence.
