Overview:
Role: Red Hat OpenShift Cloud Platform Architect or SME

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure architect with above prescribed years of IT experience with infra and multi-tenant cloud technologies for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable containerization solutions using Red Hat OpenShift
• Primary skills
+ Experience in architecture, design, build, configuration and operationalize Red Hat OpenShift environment
+ Install and deploy Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
+ Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator
+ Experience in supporting migration of applications and data from on-premise/public cloud to OpenShift platform
+ Expert in RHEL
+ Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes (ACM)
+ Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes (ACS)
+ Experience in backup, storage
+ Expertise in setting up containers and Red Hat Openshift/Kubernetes
+ Container Images deployment and management
+ Experience in setting up the security in Openshift
+ Experience in operations for Openshift, Kebernetes, patching, upgrades, container registry management, security and network policy management
+ Experience in designing and building monitoring and logging
• Good to understand the upstream oil and gas domain
• Ability to design, size, maintain and optimize the load and provisioning of the cloud environment
• Ability to define the strategy for cloud-to-cloud migration
• Should have a good understanding of deploying Openshift on Azure stack hub
• Troubleshoot and address infrastructure, security, and cloud issues as necessary
• Working within the Scrum team designing and implementing new features and services
• Be able to manage a team that is geographically spread and support of production environments
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of existing and emerging technologies relevant to the role
• Communicate and escalate issues in a clear and timely manner
• Hands-on production experience with SRE (site reliability)
• DevOps CI-CD experience will be a PLUS
• Primarily excellent communication skills
• Experience in automation using Ansible, Terraform or any other scripting languages.

Location : Bangalore or other India Locations, Karnataka, India.


Onsite location position depends on customer demands for local support.
