Description:Operational\xc2\xa7 Provides technical assistance, advices to hotel management so as to minimise overhead expenses and maximise productivity in all areas.\xc2\xa7 Assist authorised users in relation to operation of the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s I.S. system hardware, various modules and supporting personal computers.\xc2\xa7 Coordinates timely repair and return to service any faulty systems or items of equipment.\xc2\xa7 Establishes and implements procedures to ensure backup of data in any I.S. system.\xc2\xa7 Rebuilds data corrupted by either hardware or software faults.\xc2\xa7 Coordinates the timely handling of any software fault reports or enhancement requests.\xc2\xa7 Sets up emergency procedures to continue the operation of the hotel in the event of system failure.\xc2\xa7 Provides manuals on the issue of I.S systems and incorporates those manuals into the relevant operating procedures of the hotel.\xc2\xa7 Establishes necessary security measures to prevent unauthorised access to the I.S. systems.\xc2\xa7 Provides technical assistance to internal and external audit employees.\xc2\xa7 Works with Sales and Marketing Department and Operational Departments to set up and maintain clean relevant databases for management purposePersonnel\xc2\xa7 Plans and implements effective training programmes for employees in coordination with the HR/Training Manager and Departmental Trainers.\xc2\xa7 Encourages employees to be creative and innovative, challenging and recognising them for their contribution to the success of the operation.\xc2\xa7 Supports the implementation of The People Philosophy, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Culture Characteristics.\xc2\xa7 Ensures that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to employee rules and regulations.\xc2\xa7 Ensures that employees follow all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to fire and hazard safety, and security.\xc2\xa7 Feedback the results of the Employee Opinion/Pulse Survey and to ensure that the relevant changes are implemented.
