Who are we looking for?



We are looking for a highly skilled Information Security Architect / Principal Security Engineer to lead and shape our organization's security architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex security infrastructures that safeguard our digital assets. This role requires a deep understanding of security frameworks, advanced threat landscapes, and emerging technologies, ensuring that our systems are resilient against modern cyber threats.

Reports to: VP Platform Engineering



What will you do in RamSoft?



Security Architecture Design: Develop and maintain comprehensive security architectures for both on-premises and cloud environments, aligning with the organization's strategic goals.



Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to define and implement security strategies that address current and future business needs.



Threat and Vulnerability Management: Lead threat modelling, risk assessments, and vulnerability management processes to identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks.



Security Solutions Development: Design and oversee the deployment of security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM, encryption, and identity management systems.



Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC): Ensure that all security architectures and implementations are compliant with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).



Security Incident Response: Provide technical leadership during security incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing long-term corrective actions.



Cloud Security: Architect secure cloud solutions and enforce security policies for cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).



Mentorship and Leadership: Act as a mentor to junior security engineers and other IT staff, fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.



Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of emerging security threats, technologies, and industry trends, integrating new solutions to enhance the organization's security posture.



Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate security strategies, risks, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive.



What will you bring to RamSoft?



Experience:



• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a security architect or senior engineering role.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing security architectures in large, complex environments





Technical Skills



• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
• Proficiency with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, encryption, and endpoint protection.
• Expertise in cloud security, including securing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and security protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS, VPNs, IPSec).
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipeline security, container security).





Soft Skills



• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.





You will really stand out if you have following of these:



Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.



Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are highly desirable.
