Join Western Union as an Information Security Analyst.Western Union powers your pursuit.The Information Security Analyst has a significant role in realizing the vision of the strategy and ensuring that products and services are developed with the needs of our customers in mind. This role has significance in system stability analysis and using insight from customers and colleagues worldwide to improve financial services for families, small businesses, multinational corporations, and non-profit organizations.Role Responsibilities

• Supporting multiple security-related platforms and technologies, interfacing with others within the IT organization, as well as other internal business units and external customers/partners.
• Monitoring and responding to security events from 6:30 am IST to 3:30 pm IST.
• To document all security events and alerts as they are received through research and triages.
• To work on events generated from endpoints, networks, security information and event management (SIEM) systems, threat intelligence platforms, employees, third parties and other sources.
• To monitor, evaluate, and maintain system and procedures to safeguard internal information systems and databases and define, implement, maintain information security practices and technologies to ensure appropriate protection of Western Union\xe2\x80\x99s data.
• Ability to work on projects under limited supervision and able to prioritize workload to achieve the team goals.
• Ability to query and analyze data to generate reports, analytics, and recommendations.
• Document and manage audit related processes and tasks.
• Interact with other internal departments to formulate recommendations and actions.

Role Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with information security monitoring and response.
• Hands on experience working with SIEM systems, security automation and orchestration solutions (SOAR), Threat intelligence platforms.
• Proficiency with SOC\xe2\x80\x99s, EDR tool, Endpoint, WAF, Network Security (IPS/Network DDOS Protection/Firewall/Web Proxy).
• Experience working in Email Security tools and SSL Certificate management.
• Knowledge of a variety of Internet protocols.
• Certifications such as CEH/GCIH/Comptia Security+ certification is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with cross-functional roles.
• Strong organizational skills with customer-centric mindset and service-oriented attitude.
