Infant Caretaker
Job Description
ICT's job is much more than the sum of her daily tasks, however, she needs to be able to tailor activities to each child's interests, developmental abilities as well as communicate effectively with both the children and the parents. She must behave in such a way that the parents feel entirely comfortable leaving their most precious ones without any inhibition. She should also be nurturing, kind, active and interact well with the infants.
Tasks of an Infant Caretaker at Amelio:
Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children
Preparing food and feeding the children
Administering medicine with parents' consent, if necessary as per the guideline
Clean up and dressing
Indoor play (Toys)
Reading to the children
Changing diapers (Wet and potty) - HKS will no more be a part of this job
Organising toys
Must put infants to sleep
Maintaining logs/report for the parents (Daily report/Feeding register) legibly in English.
Two-minute quality interaction with parents during drop off & pick up (To give/receive updates about child's health, sleep, food & how the child's day was and if anything in particular that the child's behaviour/milestone achievement that needs mention to the parent)
Light housekeeping (Dusting/laying of the mattresses/cleaning toys with Dettol)
