We are currently seeking a Industry Consulting Sr. Manager to join our team in Pune, Mah\xc4\x81r\xc4\x81shtra (IN-MH), India (IN).
Overview
Responsible for delivery of all scientific writing projects. Liaise with clients and vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of reports. Ensure availability of appropriate resources for all writing projects. Set up robust scientific
writing processes and best practices. Contribute to business development in the area of scientific writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and promote use of consistent, efficient and quality processes to meet timelines and deliverables according to requirements and standard operating procedures, and assume accountability for the deliverables
- Manage day-to-day operations of the writing group
- Ensure delivery of services meets or exceeds Service Level Agreements
- Direct activities of the group and track status of projects, providing overall project management Ensure adherence to all relevant standards, guidelines and SOPs
- Use metrics to track performance with respect to quality and timelines for the medical writing group
- Implement process & productivity improvements as appropriate to improve operational efficiency Act as the Client Engagement Manager/Account Manager if required
- Identify external resources for capability augmentation of the team, as required, to ensure availability of the right resources for all writing projects
- Responsible for management and oversight of medical writing vendors
- Provide input into individual annual objectives of team members and perform appraisal as per guidelines, thereby contributing to the development of the team members within the writing team
- Share best practices across departments
- Help with growth of scientific writing business either through existing clients or bringing new clients
Educational and Experience Requirements
- PhD in Biological Science or related field with 8+ years\' relevant experience, or Master\'s degree (Biological Sciences/Pharmacy) with 10+ years\' relevant experience or Bachelor\'s degree with 14+ years\' relevant experience
- Experience in people & project management for 8+ years
