They will be responsible for the delivery of Temenos banking-related projects. This includes pre-sales activities of opportunity identification, pre-sales presentation, and contribution to proposal writing and submission. They will be responsible for the quality delivery & and implementation of the required solution. They will follow project standards within established timeframes and at defined quality levels, and ensure projects are completed according to schedule and client specifications. This position is client-facing.Responsibilities of the role:Your deliverables as a Temenos Technical Consultant will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Providing Temenos technical expertise to stakeholders
• Liaise with the Lead Technical Consultant and related Functional Consultants to understand the full solution required and proceed with the technical implementation accordingly.
• Focus on more technical problems, generally without day-to-day supervision or direction.
• Has strong proficiency in the tools, systems and procedures that are used to accomplish the job.
• Provide expertise to clients in the definition of additional standard enhancements.
• Identify, define and coordinate any development activities that may occur during the implementation of TEMENOS products, such as additional specific functionality, interfacing to external systems or conversion programs to be built.
• Install custom enhancements and validate technical setup and conduct necessary testing to ensure user acceptance and global quality of the solution delivered.
• Advise the client on the setting up of a production environment and on the running of the T24/TCB products including database administration.
• Provide clear and concise technical documentation for internal and external use.
• Conduct client technical training as necessary.
• Provide regular update and feedback to the Project Manager on implementation success, potential delays and resources needs adjustments in order to achieve project goals.
• Coordinate with the maintenance groups to ensure that the product problems encountered by the client are understood and resolved.
• Supervise, if and when needed, over specific technical parts of the implementation plan.
• Perform such other duties, functions and services, consistent with status or vocational ability, as may from time to time be required.
• Should be able to manage different Transact enviornment

Experience and skills required

• Experience working on Temenos Core Banking System (Transact) is a must.
• Professional with a minimum of 7 years of experience in software technical consultancy, in a banking environment with at least 5 years on Transact Arrangement Architecture
• Technical knowledge: JAVA, ORACLE 9 (or above) operating systems knowledge and functionality of UNIX, AS400 and NT. Exposure to mainframes.
• Should be well versed with Agile mode of delivery
• Should have a good understanding of Transact APIs.
• Design thinking, ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations, communicate in a clear non-ambiguous manner, conduct requirements workshops, drive decision making
• Pro-active, quick learner, ability to effectively work in multi-cultural and multi-national teams
• Positive attitude and ability to engage with different stakeholders managing scope and expectations skilfully
