Industrial Staff Nurse
Job Description
• Providing medical care : Responding to medical emergencies, treating sick or injured workers, and recommending additional medical treatment
• Promoting health and wellness : Maintaining the health and wellness of workers, and providing education and support to employees
• Identifying hazards : Identifying hazards in the workplace and recommending ways to reduce and prevent them
• Training : Conducting training for first aid, safety, CPR, and health programs
• Reporting : Preparing accident reports and workers compensation reports
• Advising companies : Advising companies on how to improve the safety of their operations
• Staying current : Maintaining current knowledge of industrial safety and medical best practices
