Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Industrial Safety Trainer to develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for our employees and companies. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in industrial safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to design and deliver effective training programs. The role primarily involves preparing and designing training content, educating employees on safety measures, proper handling of safety equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Curriculum Development: Design and develop comprehensive training programs and materials on various safety protocols and Industrial workplace safety.
• Develop and Implement Programs: Develop and implement safety training programs in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Safety Training: Conduct regular training sessions both online and onsite.
• Safety Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Identify and assess potential hazards in the workplace.
• Recommendations: Provide recommendations to management on ways to improve safety procedures. Create and distribute educational materials on safety.
• Emergency Drills and Response: Lead emergency drills to ensure workers are prepared for potential incidents. Teach participants how to respond to emergency alarms, perform basic first aid, and manage emergencies until professional help arrives.
• Incident Reporting and Analysis: Assist in investigating safety-related incidents or breaches, providing recommendations for improvements to safety protocols and training methods.
• Record Keeping: Develop and maintain records of safety training activities. Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using feedback and tests.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest safety technology, tools, and regulations, integrating new methods into training programs as needed.
Skills, Experience and Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science, or a 3-year full-time Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial safety.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a safety trainer or equivalent position is required.
• Part-timers and retired professionals are also encouraged to apply.
• Additional safety qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate a diverse audience.
Certification preferred: Internal/Lead Auditor-ISO 45001:2018
Willingness to travel: 100% (Required)
