Position Overview

TECHNOLOGY, METHODS, PROCESS DEVELOPMENT:

Asset record keeping & classification.Preparation ,Monitoring and management of FADA record & co-ordination with Finance team for record keeping.End to end responsibility for asset De-installation & transporting it to vendor/Business Units in co ordination with SP ,SRE.

Design, Monitoring and maintenance of tool data - Skew wedges and winding former designs - LVM. Preliminary knowledge of Rotor Die casting process, destructive testing & subsequent report preparation.Identify requirement, carryout techno-commercial negotiation, co-ordinate procurement, monitor & review progress & trials, validate, co-ordinate documentation, installation & commissioning, qualifications review & implementation of the processes in order to meet the product specifications for new as well as existing products.

RESOURCE & CAPACITY PLANNING: Based on annual plan, co-ordinate, project the requirements of manpower, machines, tools & layouts, suggest investment / outsourcing alternatives, plan, assign, monitor, review and implement decisions on manpower, investments and outsourcing / in sourcing in order to meet the plan requirements. Monitor Plan vs Actual on capacity planning, resource planning and implement necessary actions to realize the planned actions.

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING & WORK MEASUREMENT: Co-ordinate, plan and implement work measurement, Preparation of working instructions, Conduct process FMEA\'s, workplace layout, operation routings & updating in SAP.

SPECIAL PROJECTS: Plan, monitor, review & implement special projects such as benchmarking, face lift of contract manufacturers in order to meet the works requirements.

SPECIAL TOOLS: Plan, monitor requirement of special tools & equipment requirements, guide & review the design, procurement including identification of vendors, implementation & repair of dies, jigs, fixtures, skew wedges, handling / special equipment in order to meet the product specifications & annual planned quantity. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

The skills, experience and education required are:

Recommended 12 to 15 years of\' experience in Manufacturing Industry

Degree in Engineering Mechanical/ Electrical / Production or any relevant fields

The person must have positive relationship building and interpersonal skills.
