We are seeking a talented AutoCAD 2D/3D Designer with a strong background in industrial engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our projects by creating detailed and innovative plant layouts and designs using AutoCAD software. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with consultants and clients to develop solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and overall operational performance.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize AutoCAD software to develop precise 2D and 3D models, drawings, and layouts for manufacturing facilities and plant environments.
• Interpret project requirements and specifications to create design solutions that optimize space utilization, workflow efficiency, and ergonomic considerations.
• Collaborate with consultants and clients to understand project objectives, constraints, and design criteria.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather relevant data and information for design development.
• Incorporate principles of industrial engineering into design solutions to enhance manufacturing processes and workflow.
• Generate detailed documentation, including drawings, schematics, and specifications, to communicate design intent and requirements effectively.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise and insights to support project decision-making.
• Support project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in plant layout design and industrial engineering.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as an AutoCAD 2D/3D Designer in the manufacturing or industrial engineering sector.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software, including 2D drafting and 3D modeling capabilities.
• Strong understanding of industrial engineering principles, including facility layout design, process optimization, and workflow analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical design solutions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality in design work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Experience with other design software tools, such as SolidWorks or Revit, is a plus.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies is desirable.
