Industrial Designer
Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to effortlessly drive the communication of ideas quickly and be able to work within a team effectively using a combination of sketching, CAD visualization, 3D models and working prototypes to evaluate potential solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor/Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related computer science field
• Degree/Diploma in Industrial/Product designing.
• Minimum of 4+ years experience as an Industrial Designer of consumer products.
• Experience developing, designs through sketching, CAD/surfacing, high-quality renderings, mock-ups, and 3D printed models.
• At least one commercial shipped product development experience.
• Mastery to produce inspiring sketches/illustrations/visuals of advanced industrial design concepts.
• Design experience from ideation/illustration to production processes.
• Experience selecting materials for various levels.
• Experience in DFM, DFA, statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, geometric tolerance, and 3D/2D CAD.
• Exposure to Testing, Simulation and Analysis methods.
• Exposure to end-to-end product manufacturing.
• Excellent communication (verbal/written) and presentation skills.
• Ability to write, speak and comprehend English.
