The Sales Executive for project and piping work is responsible for identifying business opportunities, engaging with clients in the industrial and construction sectors, and driving sales of piping materials, systems, and related services. This role involves managing customer relationships, understanding project requirements, and ensuring successful execution of sales strategies to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
• Identify and target potential customers in industries such as oil & gas, construction, manufacturing, and infrastructure.
• Generate leads through market research, networking, and site visits.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to secure large-scale piping and project contracts.
2. Client Engagement:
• Build and maintain relationships with project managers, engineers, contractors, and procurement teams.
• Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions for piping materials, fabrication, or installation services.
• Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals.
3. Product and Service Knowledge:
• Acquire a deep understanding of piping systems, fittings, valves, and related products.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings.
• Advise clients on the most suitable products and services for their projects.
4. Sales and Negotiation:
• Conduct pricing negotiations to close deals while ensuring profitability.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and contracts.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
5. Project Coordination:
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, and logistics) to ensure smooth order execution.
• Monitor project timelines and address client concerns during project delivery.
6. Market Analysis:
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the piping industry.
• Provide insights and feedback to management for strategic planning.
Diploma in mechanical engineering
• Proven experience in sales within the piping, construction, or industrial sectors.
• Basic Knowledge of piping materials, systems, and industry standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM).
• Familiarity with project management processes and industrial sales cycles.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and technical proposal writing.
Eligibly Criteria:
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 0 to 2 years of experience
• Candidate must have basic knowledge about Excel, word and AutoCAD elc.
Key Skills:
• Strong communication, interpersonal, convincing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities.
