Description


We are looking for industrial automation testers including testing of Device Drivers for Measurement Devices. Scope includes testing Industrial communication protocols such as HART, FF, Modbus, etc.


Roles & Responsibilities:-


Test Planning and Strategy:


• Participating Test Planning meeting
• Preparing Test Plan document or modifying the existing as necessary.
• Identifying risks and discuss with team and document them.
• Perform the test as defined in the Test strategy document.


Requirement Analysis:


• Participating in requirement analysis meeting
• Understanding Project requirements
• Provide test estimates
• Understanding User Stories & Test case preparation:
• Understanding user story or PRS document to know about the features.
• Writing test cases as per the requirement.
• Participating/Conducting review meetings
• Updating and creating test suits in TFS.
• Understanding project needs and modifying the TFS work items and queries as needed
• Test case should ensure traceability with requirements


Test bench Setup:


• Keeping Devices, Communication cables test machines and other equipment ready before the test build release.
• Once test finish dismantles the test bench and keep the artifacts in respective location to ensure 55 principle is practiced.


Test Case and Report:


• Executing manual test cases
• Updating test results in TFS
• Logging bugs keeping severity and priority as per project need
• Generating test reports
• Updating team with the critical bugs and other risks as and when then anse.
• Participating in CCB meetings


Test Automation:


• Identifying potential test cases to be automated
• Support test automation activities if needed.


Other Activities:


• Keeping LAB environment safe and neat
• Reporting potential hazards to the safety team
• Supporting in procurements of devices and other test equipment as on need
