Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead with 5 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Hive and PySpark. This role involves leading testing efforts ensuring high-quality deliverables and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.


Responsibilities


? Lead the testing efforts for various projects ensuring all deliverables meet the highest quality standards.


? Oversee the development and execution of test plans test cases and test scripts.


? Provide technical expertise in Hive and PySpark to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.


? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliverables.


? Ensure that all testing activities are aligned with the project timelines and milestones.


? Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify and document defects.


? Work closely with developers to ensure that defects are resolved in a timely manner.


? Implement best practices for test automation and continuous integration.


? Monitor and report on the progress of testing activities to stakeholders.


? Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers on the team.


? Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in Property and Casualty Insurance.


? Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans test cases and test scripts.


? Continuously improve the testing process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Qualifications


? Possess a strong background in Hive and PySpark with hands-on experience in these technologies.


? Have extensive experience in Property and Casualty Insurance with a deep understanding of industry standards and regulations.


? Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.


? Exhibit strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.


? Show proficiency in developing and executing test plans test cases and test scripts.


? Have experience with test automation and continuous integration best practices.


? Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
