As the Lead - Public Relations at Lowes India, you will support and manage our ongoing PR program to establish Lowes as a thought leader in the retail/retail-tech/GCC space as well as position Lowes India as an employer of choice. You will drive this by working with stakeholders and business leaders to imagine, develop and execute communications programs across media relations, awards and events/speaking opportunities. You will connect with industry bodies such as NASSCOM, Assocham, Amcham as well as analyst firms like Zinnov, Everest etc. to garner representation for Lowes in the right forums.Key Responsibilities

  • Act as PR business partner to the business leadership team
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholder teams to drive proactive and successful PR outreach within the identified Lowes India media universe
  • Identify and support relevant awards and speaking opportunities (offline & online) across earned/paid/shared formats
  • Write press releases, leader speaking points, media responses, etc. and secure top media coverage, including print, broadcast and online outlets
  • Develop, build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media, industry bodies and analyst firms
  • Help coordinate events, speaking opportunities, influencer programs etc.
  • Collaborate with other communications team colleagues to develop and execute strategic joint programs
  • Help manage external PR partner
  • Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges
Qualification:
  • Bachelors/Masters degree in communication/PR/journalism
Years of Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in IT/ITeS PR (at least 3-4 years in a PR agency) with experience driving corporate and employer brand focused PR programs
