Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chinese and Indian Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing authentic and flavorful dishes from both Chinese and Indian cuisines.

Responsibilities :

• Menu Preparation : Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese and Indian dishes, including starters, main courses, and accompaniments, as per the menu and customer preferences.
• Ingredient Management : Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients, and maintain proper storage and inventory of spices, herbs, and raw materials.
• Cooking Techniques : Utilize traditional cooking methods and techniques for both cuisines to create authentic flavors and presentations.
• Food Safety and Hygiene : Follow strict food safety standards, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene protocols.
• Plating and Presentation : Ensure all dishes are presented in an appealing and visually attractive manner.
• Collaboration : Work closely with the kitchen team and management to plan daily operations, special menus, and catering services.
• Quality Control : Monitor food preparation processes to ensure consistency in taste, portion sizes, and overall quality.
• Adaptability : Modify recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions or customer-specific requirements.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a cook specializing in Chinese and Indian cuisines.
• In-depth knowledge of traditional spices, cooking techniques, and dishes from both cuisines.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
• Creativity and attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Formal culinary training or certification is a plus but not mandatory.
