Job Description

Location: Pune / Gurgaon/ Noida


Reports to: APAC AG COMMERCIAL CONTROLLER


Role Purpose:


India AG Commercial controller will be based within India (Pune/Gurgaon/ Noida) and will report to APAC AG Commercial Controller. Commercial Controller guarantees that control principles are respected and implemented across India for the Whole goods business operations, and acts as a real business partner for the corresponding Business leader.


Major Accountabilities:


Primary duties:


1) Pricing and Margin Control


Ensure that proper pricing action are taken on time and also keep a track of margin with respect to Standard as well as Fully allocated margin. Highlight risks and variation to India management and APAC finance team


2) Budget / FCST / SBP - Participate and prepare Budget, FCST and SBP Plans for India AG Wholegood business. Explain the causals to the management


3) Provide direction to the sales team in terms on marginality and improvement in Margins


4) Periodically present financials to management


5) Coordinate within different departments of finance to ensure all compliances are fulfilled




Secondary duties:

1) Monitor Marketing and Discount Reserve, ensure the correct level of NRV and Obsolesce reserve, quarterly, tracking the monthly inventory level Track and Monitor Export related activities (EPDMS, Collections, Documentation to Bank)


2) Track and Monitor Dealer incentive payout and receivables


3) Track and Monitor SIP Plans for Employees


4) Track and Monitor Warranty Payouts


5) Support business decision with AdHoc analysis, including: business cases, profitability analysis, Commercial margin analysis and explanation


6) Track Inventory and Inventory ageing and highlight to management


7) Address taxation related queries


8) Support in Internal, Staututory and SOX Audit


9) Ad hoc Analysis related to India AG Financials


Leadership/Team Management Responsibility: Ensure that the team is able to perform their job responsibility. Provide them guidance and ensure that they are provided with the right resources which helps them in delivering their job.


Minimum Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Language(s):


Education/Qualifications:

CA / MBA (Finance)


Essential experience and skills


Expert in excel, data base maintenance, knowledge of ERP LN and consolidation is a plus


Decision Making and Learning Skills


Good interpersonal and communication skills, team player


Leadership skills, integrity, ability to work under pressure in complex international environment


Strong analytical


Ability to work in matrix organization and with multicultural environment.
