The Team You will be part of the Index Operations team for iBoxx indices within the Global Index Management & Production Group. The team is responsible for the daily maintenance, calculation and delivery of iBoxx products and other fixed income indices. The Impact This role is a crucial operational function within the Index Management & Production Group (IMPG) and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance of the iBoxx branded fixed income indices within S&P Dow Jones (S&P DJI). As an index analyst / index manager, you will work on a wide range of indices measuring fast-moving and evolving financial markets. You will work collaboratively with multiple, global teams across the Index Management & Production Group and beyond to ensure the accuracy and integrity of S&P Dow Jones Indices (“S&P DJI”) products. You will be working with a diverse global team of indexing experts and become a subject matter expert, be able to analyse and implement complex index methodologies, and solve non-routine problems on an on-going basis. You will manage and participate in global projects with high visibility and global impact. Responsibilities

• Data and content management; including bond price and analytics validation, corporate action analysis, periodic index review
• Product delivery management including the execution and validation of the index calculation, management of delivery schedules
• Collaborate with the technology and production support groups to further automate, enhance our system capabilities and troubleshoot production issues
• Successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines including requirement gathering, analytical thinking, compilation of data, and documentation
• Develop and maintain key relationships with other groups within the department and across other departments, particularly Product Management, Client Coverage, Index Services and IT Support
• Partner with project teams to expand index coverage in terms of asset classes and markets
  

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Mathematics, Economics, IT, or Finance preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Exposure to global financial markets in publicly traded assets (fixed income, commodities, currencies, and equities) beneficial
• Strong technical skills, including Python, SQL, and / or VBA Professional
• Excellent analytical and quantitative capabilities to solve original, non-routine problems in a timely and insightful manner
• First class communication skills – written, verbal and presenting
• The ability to coordinate work done by multiple people and / or groups
