Configuring involves using proprietary systems and tools to set up and configure/load tables/parameters in the System as defined by analysis/mapping.This role is designed as an experience-level position for applicants with strong skill sets in programming logic, systems configuration, and testing related to systems that support pension administration functions.Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate good understanding of Pension Domain or SQL or VBA
  • Reviews client requirements document, adhere to the Due dates and support the client delivery priority.
  • Asks clarifying questions on the stated requirements, and effectively use the handoff time.
  • Configures the system to meet high complexity analysis specifications.
  • Executes Unit test plan and documents results.
  • Assist with analysis and test planning on low and medium complexity tasks.
  • Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
  • Identifies and execute test cases.
  • Run release regression.
  • Troubleshoots basic system defects and errors.
  • Utilizes relevant problem-solving resources as needed.
  • Escalates issues when appropriate.
  • Starts developing skill set setting their path for next role
  • Efficient at completing tasks accurately and within time constraints
  • Completes straight forward tasks with some oversight.
Role SpecificationsEducation/Certifications
  • Bachelors degree in Science/Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Science OR Masters degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering
Experience
  • Candidate with an experience of 1 xe2x80x93 3 years in Pensions/Benefits.
Domain and Technical Skills/Required Skills
  • Applies basic relational database concepts (e.g., table relationships, keys)
  • Writes intermediate SQL queries or VBA code
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles/concepts.
  • Troubleshoots basic system defects and errors.
  • Interprets and understands typical client requirements documentation.
  • Uses typical client requirements documentation to assist with analysis and/or test planning.
Desired Skills
  • This role requires individuals who are detail-oriented
  • This role requires individuals who are resourceful when it comes to problem solving (e.g., utilizing many different resources to solve a problem)
  • It is critically important that individuals in this role keep the status of their projects updated in the project status tracking tool on a timely basis
  • Client team project tasks will vary in complexity. Senior analyst will be responsible for high complexity configuration and testing tasks and will assist with low complexity analysis and/or test planning.

Work Timings and Location
  • General timings would be 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm IST and willing to work beyond normal business hours or alternate shifts if required.
  • Company transportation will be provided.
  • Location will be for Bangalore / Gurugram / Noida, India.
Selection Procedure
  • Candidates will undergo two rounds of interview post screening round by HR.
Eligibility
  • Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in Pension Domain or SQL or VBA.
  • 12 months at Aon in a Analyst I or similar role.
