Our 50,000 colleagues in 120 countries empower results for clients by using proprietary data and analytics to deliver insights that reduce volatility and improve performance ScopeJob Desctiption:Wealth Administration : As a Benefits processor you will be responsible to finalize the accounts for UK pension scheme as per the statutory guidelines which includes the whole process of cash reconciliation, Bank Reconciliation, Investment reconciliation, passing journal entries, booking accruals and the preparation of the final Annual Report. You will be closely working with Auditors, UK accountants, admin team, payroll team, etc. Requesting data from different parties and providing information when needed. You will be involved in preparation of accounts and submitting the same to auditors and getting them signed from Trustees after amending required adjustments withing 7 months. Should have good knowledge about the pension schemes and General accounting. Should have minimum 6 months to 1 year experience and well versed with the accounting policies and golden rules of accounting. Should maintain good relationship with UK counterpart and other stakeholders. Should be compliant with Aon training throughout the year. Preparation of accounting working papers in MS - Excel for the current year transactions and post year transactions. Reconciliation and analysis of accounts: Analysis of Investment managers report and reconciliation of cash book receipts and payments with Investment managers report. Reconciliation of derivatives investment, Sales, purchased and cash movement. Passing Journal entries and preparing the Trial balance in the Aviary software (provided accounting software). Preparation and finalization of the Annual Report. Involved in process improvement ideas.Getting these accounts signed from the auditor by closely working with them, and helping them resolve queries on timely basis. Effective problem solving and analytical skills to anticipate future needs/issues. Good hand holding on MS Excel and MS word. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Sound knowledge of accounting.Good To Have :
A strong communicator, confident to express your own views and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills that build long term relationships and trust Experience in accountancy will be an asset; University degree (preferably accounting, economics, finance or similar) or last year students; Experience in preparing financial statements; Experience in using computer applications (MS Office is a must); Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; Financial and analytical skills; ability to work on long deadlines/plan work on their own Self driven.
