• Finalization of RDBMS requirement and specifications for the Land GIS project.
• Assisting in designing the database architecture within the overall Solution Architecture.
• Development of data model for Raster (Image data), Spatial data (GIS Layers) and Non-spatial MIS data
• GIS-MIS integration.
• Integration of different and diverse RDBMS
• Database management and maintenance activities (data back-up, Data Archiving)
• Data Migration from Legacy systems

Mandatory skill sets:

• Knowledge of strong SQL and database programming skills
• Use SQL to query, update, and manage databases, to write complex SQL queries and Optimization of SQL code
• Understand database optimization techniques
• Strong Database Security including hardware, software, and networking knowledge
• Understanding of defining user roles and permissions, implementation of access control mechanisms, how to use database administration tools etc.
• Understanding of how to define and implement data management policies

Preferred skill sets:

• Preferred RDBMS platform exp. MS SQL Server
