**Job Title:** Import/Export Executive **Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced and skilled Import/Export Executive to join our team. As an Import/Export Executive, you will be responsible for managing the import and export operations of our company, ensuring that goods are shipped efficiently and cost-effectively while adhering to all regulatory requirements. You will work closely with various departments, including procurement, logistics, and sales to ensure seamless coordination of imports and exports. **Responsibilities:** * Plan, organize, and execute import and export operations in accordance with company policies and procedures * Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers * Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and payment terms with suppliers and customers * Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods * Prepare and submit necessary documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin * Manage and track inventory levels, ensuring that goods are received and stored properly * Analyze market trends, tariffs, and regulations to optimize import/export operations * Develop and maintain import/export budgets, tracking expenses and revenue * Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs laws, trade agreements, and industry standards * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to imports and exports * Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations, laws, and industry best practices **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field * 5+ years of experience in import/export operations or a related field * Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs laws, and tariffs * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions * Strong organizational and time management skills * Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel * Certification in international trade (e.g. CGBP) is a plus **Preferred Qualifications:** * Master's degree in International Business or a related field * Experience with import/export software systems (e.g. UPS TradeAbility) * Knowledge of specific industries or commodities (e.g. textiles, electronics) * Fluency in multiple languages **Work Environment:** This is a full-time position based in our corporate office. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
