A telecaller, also known as a telemarketer or telephone sales representative, is responsible for communicating with customers by phone to generate sales and build relationships:
• Making calls Telecallers make outbound calls to potential customers and inbound calls to existing customers. They may also use live chat, emails, and social media.
• Presenting products Telecallers explain the benefits of products or services and encourage customers to make purchases or schedule appointments.
• Resolving issues Telecallers address customer concerns and complaints.
• Building relationships Telecallers build rapport with potential customers and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Recording interactions Telecallers keep accurate records of customer interactions and update databases.
• Following guidelines Telecallers adhere to organizational guidelines and methodology, and may follow predefined scripts.
• Reporting Telecallers make reports and documentation based on their conversations, and report their observations to their team lead
