An Immigration Counselor plays a key role in providing guidance and assistance to individuals who are seeking to move or work abroad. As a fresher in this position, you would assist clients in understanding various immigration programs, visa options, and application procedures. Although this is an entry-level position, it is crucial for someone who is detail-oriented, empathetic, and capable of managing administrative tasks related to immigration services.

1. Client Consultation:

• Meet with potential clients to understand their immigration goals (work, TRV, permanent residency, etc.).
• Explain the different visa options and processes based on their eligibility and aspirations.
• Provide clear and accurate information about the requirements for visa applications, timelines, and fees.

2. Eligibility Assessment:

• Conduct initial screenings to determine client eligibility for various visa types (work visas, student visas, residency programs).
• Advise clients on the documentation needed for their visa application (passport, education credentials, work experience, etc.).

3. Visa Application Assistance:

• Help clients complete visa applications, ensuring all information is accurate and submitted within deadlines.
• Collect and organize necessary documents to support visa applications (letters of invitation, employment offers, etc.).
• Guide clients on how to prepare for visa interviews or assessments, if applicable.

4. Document Review & Processing:

• Review client documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with immigration laws.
• Keep track of the application status and follow up with clients and immigration authorities to ensure a smooth process.

5. Stay Updated on Immigration Policies:

• Regularly update your knowledge of changing immigration laws, policies, and procedures for different countries (e.g., Canada, Australia, UK, USA).
• Stay informed about updates in visa categories, processing timelines, and immigration pathways.

6. Client Relationship Management:

• Maintain positive relationships with clients by providing continuous support and addressing any concerns they have during the application process.
• Keep clients informed about the status of their application and provide updates when necessary.
• Manage and resolve client issues professionally and in a timely manner.

7. Administrative Support:

• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, applications, and communications using a CRM system or database.
• Coordinate with other departments, including legal teams or documentation teams, to facilitate the immigration process.
• Assist with any other administrative tasks required in the immigration consultancy.

Skills Required:

1. Communication Skills:

• Verbal Communication: Excellent ability to clearly explain complex immigration processes to clients in a way that is easy to understand.
• Written Communication: Strong skills in writing emails, reports, and application forms accurately and professionally.

2. Interpersonal Skills:

• Ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Empathy and patience when dealing with clients who may be anxious or unsure about the immigration process.

3. Problem-Solving:

• Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and provide appropriate immigration solutions.
• Ability to think critically and resolve any issues that may arise during the immigration process (missing documents, delays, etc.).

4. Attention to Detail:

• Accuracy in reviewing and completing visa applications and client documentation.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client cases simultaneously.

5. Customer Service:

• Client-focused approach, ensuring a positive experience throughout the immigration process.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide timely responses to client queries.

6. Research Skills:

• Capacity to stay updated on the latest immigration laws and visa changes in various countries.
• Ability to find relevant information quickly, ensuring clients receive accurate and timely guidance.

7. Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and any customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Ability to navigate immigration portals and application submission platforms.

8. Time Management:

• Ability to handle multiple clients and applications, prioritizing tasks to ensure deadlines are met.

Fresher:
Min Degree/English fluency/ Bulk mailing/

Experienced:
Min 2 to 3years experience into Immigration Sales
All Immigration laws/policies knowledge required
TRV/PR/Work Visa knowledge

Salary range:
Fresher: 1.56LPA to 1.8LPA
Experienced: 2.16LPA to 3.5LPA

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?13,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
