TheTravel is a rapidly growing online travel publication that is dedicated to inspiring people to explore the world. We are seeking a talented and passionate applicant interested in joining our team as an image specialist and help us share unique and captivating stories about travel destinations, culture, and experiences.Objective:The Image Specialist for TheTravel will spearhead the creation and curation of visual content, including graphics and photo edits, to support and enhance the site\'s aviation-focused content. This role requires a blend of graphic design skills, creative vision, and a passion for traveling, ensuring that all visual elements are compelling, informative, and aligned with our brand\'s identity.Key Responsibilities:

• Design original graphics and illustrations to accompany articles, features, and digital content, ensuring they are engaging, informative, and tailored to the travel industry.
• Work closely with the content team to conceptualize and execute visual storytelling ideas that complement and enhance written content.
• Edit and enhance photos to meet editorial needs, using advanced techniques to improve composition, lighting, and overall visual appeal.
• Create and maintain style guides and templates for visual content, ensuring easy application of brand standards by all team members.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing skills in visual content creation tailored to online platforms
• Expertise in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
• Strong understanding of branding, layout, color theory, and typography in digital media
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for traveling and an understanding of industry-specific visual communication needs
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field preferred
