Moreover, the Global Internship Program provides a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and network with international professionals dedicated to ending extreme poverty and boosting prosperity in the developing world.Duties and Accountabilities:(1) Support India-Africa Cooperation StrategyS/he will report to the Country Manager, India and the main tasks of the Intern will include the following:Support Country Management Unit in business development and furthering identified India-Africa investment and advisory opportunities aligned with IFC's local and global strategies. India is home to multiple large-scale corporates with the technical, financial, and strategic capacities and priorities to expand globally, especially in IFC's countries of operation across the Emerging Markets and Developing Countries in Africa. In parallel, India offers large and growing market in mutually beneficial trade sectors like manufacturing, agriculture, and pharmaceuticals, access to advanced technology and skilled labor, all with significant potential to contribute to economic development in Africa.
