Company Name- Texas Review Company Website - Location: Delhi Rajouri Garden, Noida Sector 62, Gurgaon Sector 44 Job Title: Verbal Trainer (GMAT/GRE/CAT/SAT) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Verbal Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English language and literature, as well as a proven track record of success in teaching or tutoring students for standardised tests, particularly GMAT, GRE, CAT, and SAT. The Verbal Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive and effective training programs to help students improve their verbal reasoning skills and achieve their target scores on these exams. Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development:
- Design and develop comprehensive curriculum materials and lesson plans focusing on verbal reasoning topics covered in GMAT, GRE, CAT, and SAT exams.
- Ensure that curriculum materials are up-to-date, aligned with the latest test formats, and effectively address the specific needs of students.
- Instruction and Delivery:
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to individuals or small groups of students, both in-person and online.
- Provide clear explanations of verbal concepts, strategies, and critical reading skills relevant to the targeted exams.
- Offer personalised instruction and feedback to students to address their strengths and weaknesses and help them improve their performance.
- Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
- Administer diagnostic assessments to evaluate students\' baseline verbal skills and identify areas for improvement.
- Track students\' progress through regular practice tests and assignments, and adjust instructional strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Student Support and Guidance:
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to students, offering encouragement, motivation, and mentorship throughout their test preparation journey.
- Address students\' questions, concerns, and challenges in a timely and effective manner, both during and outside of scheduled training sessions.
- Test-taking Strategies:
- Teach students effective test-taking strategies and time-management techniques to optimise their performance on the verbal sections of the exams.
- Familiarise students with the format, structure, and types of questions encountered on GMAT, GRE, CAT, and SAT exams, and provide strategies for tackling each question type.
- Language Skills Enhancement:
- Develop students\' reading comprehension, critical reasoning, and vocabulary skills through targeted exercises and practice drills.
- Provide guidance on effective methods for improving reading speed, comprehension, and retention.
- Performance Analysis and Feedback:
- Analyse students\' performance on practice tests and assignments, identifying patterns and trends in their strengths and weaknesses.
- Provide detailed feedback to students on their performance, highlighting areas of improvement and offering actionable recommendations for further study and practice.
- Bachelor\'s degree in English, Literature, Linguistics, or a related field (Master\'s degree preferred).
- Strong proficiency in English language and literature, including reading comprehension, critical reasoning, and vocabulary.
- Previous experience teaching, tutoring, or coaching students for standardised tests such as GMAT, GRE, CAT, and/or SAT.
- Familiarity with test preparation materials, resources, and best practices for verbal sections of GMAT, GRE, CAT, and SAT exams.
- Dedication to student success, with a passion for helping students achieve their academic and professional goals.
- Flexibility to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual learning needs of students.
