IEC Executive (Information, Education, and Communication Executive)

Position: IEC Executive Location: Kishangadh (Assuming Kishangadh is a city or region) Transportation: Requires a bike

Job Summary: As an IEC Executive (Information, Education, and Communication Executive), your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement information, education, and communication strategies and initiatives within the designated area of Kishangadh. You will play a crucial role in promoting awareness and understanding of various programs, campaigns, and projects among the target audience. The position requires the use of a personal bike to travel within the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development: Collaborate with the project team to develop comprehensive IEC strategies aligned with project objectives and target audience.

Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative content for various communication channels, including brochures, pamphlets, posters, audiovisual materials, social media, and websites.

Campaign Implementation: Execute IEC campaigns to effectively disseminate information and promote behavioral change among the target audience.

Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with community leaders, local organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of IEC activities.

Training and Workshops: Conduct training sessions and workshops for community members, partners, and volunteers to enhance their understanding of program goals and encourage their active participation.

Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly monitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of IEC initiatives, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

Reporting: Prepare periodic reports on the progress, challenges, and achievements of the IEC activities and submit them to the project coordinator or supervisor.

Field Visits: Conduct regular field visits to assess the implementation of IEC activities, provide guidance and support to field staff, and identify areas for improvement.

Data Management: Maintain accurate records and databases of IEC activities, participants, and outcomes, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, social sciences, or a related field. Previous experience in information, education, and communication activities is preferred. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create compelling content. Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in using various communication tools, including MS Office, graphic design software, and social media platforms. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Familiarity with the local context of Kishangadh and the ability to navigate within the area using a

personal bike
