Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:
• Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients admitted to the ICU.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient conditions, medical history, and response to therapy.
• Perform invasive procedures such as intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, and thoracentesis as necessary.
• Monitor patients closely, interpret clinical data, and adjust treatment interventions accordingly.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team including nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior medical staff and residents.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment conducive to high-quality patient care.
• Emergency Response:
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the hospital, including code blue situations and rapid response calls.
• Stabilize and resuscitate critically ill patients in acute distress.
• Communication:
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers, providing updates on patient status, prognosis, and treatment options.
• Collaborate with consulting specialists to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Document all clinical encounters, procedures, and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
• Education and Research:
• Stay current with advances in critical care medicine through ongoing education, conferences, and professional development activities.
• Contribute to medical research and quality improvement initiatives within the ICU.
• Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ?1,000,000.00 - ?1,200,000.00 per year
