Career opportunity with Burckhardt Compression We are looking for experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to strengthen our team at Kondhapuri You will be motivated to own up the following responsibilities as an individual contributor Managing the projects administratively and technically including resource planning, monitoring, scheduling, providing supervision, technical guidelines and directions to team members on multiple projects for successful completion of instrumentation engineering activities. Provide support for various proposals, work hours estimation and provide support to department manager for various activities such as training and development of the resources, quality assurance etc. Assist Section Head - Electrical and Instrumentation for engineering and co-ordination / follow-up. To coordinate Monthly section meeting. Prepare Monthly KPIs for Section. To lead technical improvement Projects within the section. To be part of CFT team as per the Project requirements. Maintain & Adhere QMS & Procedures. Understand contract with respect to electrical and instrumentation scope. Attend various Project meetings OTM, KOM, Hazop, Technical & SIL. Closing of open points from various meetings in due timeline. Four eye check of team members on Technical part & Processes. Team administration and four eyes checking of the team. Responsible for on time & error free engineering for the team. Execution of electrical and instrumentation activity related to the projects with respective to following : Preparation of the specifications of instrumentation and electrical (Motor, Heaters etc.) items. Preparation of the schedule and BOM for cabling and instrumentation Preparation of logic diagram and control philosophy as per the project and P & I Proper document handling, follow up with vendor for drawing submission and approval As per requirements support SCM department QA department Services department Education & Experience: BE / B Tech (Instrumentation & Controls) 8- 10 years of experience in similar business and in Oil &Gas applications. Knowledge & Skills: Vast work experience in Instrumentation Engineering and Design for Oil and Gas Industries, Petroleum and Refinery Units, Chemical/Petrochemical/Fertilizer plants, EPC companies, Rotating equipment OEMs etc. Good Experience in handling projects like Packages, executing Detailed Engineering. Knowledge of international standards like IEC, API, ASME, ASTM, DIN etc. Hands on experience on selection / preparation of specifications for all instrumentation items like PLC, SCADA, Machine Monitoring System, Machine Protection System, Control Valves, ESD Valves with advance diagnostics, On Off valves, Safety Relief Valve, Flowmeters and various types of field instruments etc. Hand on /Working experience of Hazardous Area Instrumentation and electrical equipment. Knowledge of AutoCAD / UG for 2D & 3D modeling will be an added advantage. Conversant of InTools (SPI) various modules like index, specification, wiring and installation etc. Participation in HAZOP/SIL Study including preparation of SIL calculation. Hands on experience of FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) of various systems like DCS/ESD/SCADA/PLC etc. Hands on experience in handling instrumentation of critical packages like compressors, blowers, turbines etc. Knowledge of ISO /EOHS Special Requirements Accuracy of engineering Timely completion of engineering Knowledge Management and Internal Improvements. Indicators (KPIs) On time delivery of engineering as per Project schedule. Engineering accuracy more than 90% with first time right approach.
