However, if remote work is approved, periodic travel to home office will be required. This position will serve as an I&C Control System Senior Engineer with demonstrated subject matter expertise with industrial and nuclear Control System Design. . Perform basic project engineering functions involving monitoring of progress, preparation of procedures, documentation of communications and meetings, and identification/evaluation of project issues and problems . Coordinate efforts of technical disciplines, vendors and licensors to ensure integrated and complete designs that meet project requirements and contractual obligations . Review project staffing requirements and coordinate staffing with supporting functional organization managers and/or subcontractors . Support creation and coordination of overall project plans and schedules, and monitoring activities, progress, and milestones against the plans . Support creation and coordination of project effort hours, and cost estimates and budgets, and monitor progress and cost performance against these . Support the preparation, delivery and coordination of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages . Other duties as assigned Basic Job Requirements . Provide technical direction, guidance and demonstrated expertise in the development and implementation of the Control System Design. . Provide progress reports and updates on Control System Team progress. . Coordinate with other disciplines to develop design. . Develop detail hardware and infrastructure design documents and drawings including control cabinets, I/O drawings, wiring design, installation drawings, network drawings, and cable schedules required for the PCS Control System design. . Develop I/O list from P&IDs and other input documents . Develop Logic Diagrams . Check Control Systems detail designs developed by others including Control System supplier. . Develop Control System requisition for contract support by PCS vendor during detail design. . Apply working knowledge of NEC, ISA, and IEEE to site facilities. Preferred Qualifications . Professional registration and membership in technical society . Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materials . Effort-hour estimating and staff forecasting . Practical field experience .
