Hardware migration from P6, P7 to P8 & P9.
Good experience in V2P and P2V.
POWERHA migration from 6.1 and 7.1 to 7.2.
NIMADM migration from AIX 6.1/7.1 to 7.2.
Experience with BMC Patrol, Strong understanding of LVM, LPM, Virtualization concepts, HP Service Manager, Patch Management, Capacity Planning,
Performance Management, Scripting, Release Management and basic understanding of ITIL incident management knowledge is highly desired.

Responsible for creating and maintaining AIX Operating Systems configuration, patching, implementation, deployment, build and end-to-end maintenance.
Perform server software and hardware installations and upgrades, monitor, analyze and troubleshoot system environments, maintain appropriate version control, administration of scripts for file manipulation and programming access to multiple environments; synchronization of data and programs across environments; perform or assist in scripting, programming, interfacing and migration activities.
Responsible for supporting underlying OS infrastructure for mirroring, synchronization of data and programs across various environments including but not limited to DB (Oracle) and Middleware environments.
Additional responsibilities include storage management, security and audit management, on call coverage, and other duties as assigned.
