• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the requirements of the IBDP English curriculum.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and analytical skills through the study of literature and language.
• Assessment and Evaluation:

• Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including IBDP examinations.
• Mark and provide timely feedback on students\' work, ensuring they understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
• Use assessment data to inform teaching and support student progress.
• Student Support:

• Provide academic support and guidance to students, including one-on-one tutoring and mentoring.
• Identify and support students with special educational needs or learning difficulties.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social and emotional development of students.
• Professional Development:

• Stay updated with the latest developments in the IBDP and English teaching practices.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops, conferences, and training sessions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the English department.
• School Community Involvement:

• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities.
• Contribute to the schools mission and values by being an active member of the school community.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues.

• Bachelors degree in English, English Literature or Education.
• Teaching certification or qualification recognized by the IB.
• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of teaching experience, in an IBDP setting.
• Strong knowledge of the IBDP English curriculum and assessment criteria.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
