Job Description


Overview:The IBDP English Teacher plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality education and fostering students\' language proficiency and critical thinking skills. They are responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the demands of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) English curriculum.Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dynamic and comprehensive IBDP English lessons
  • Design and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Develop and enhance the IBDP English curriculum
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students
  • Use innovative instructional methods to promote active learning
  • Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and share best practices
  • Implement formative and summative assessments to measure student progress
  • Support students in developing advanced language and literary analysis skills

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in English, Education, or related field
  • Teaching certification or licensure
  • Proven experience teaching IBDP English or similar international curriculum
  • Deep understanding of the IBDP English curriculum and assessment criteria
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
