Overview:The IB PYP French Teacher plays a crucial role in providing a comprehensive, inquiry-based education that encourages students to become active, compassionate, and lifelong learners. This position is vital in fostering a stimulating and nurturing learning environment, where the French language and the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) are integrated seamlessly.Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive French language lessons following the IB PYP framework
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units that incorporate the French language and culture
• Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Integrate technology effectively into the curriculum
• Support the holistic development of students by participating in extracurricular activities
• Implement differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive student records
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and school events
• Attend and contribute to professional development opportunities related to IB PYP and language teaching
• Carry out duties related to student supervision and pastoral care

• Bachelor\'s degree in Education or a relevant field
• IB Certification as a PYP Educator
• Proficiency in the French language (B2 level or higher)
• Demonstrated experience in teaching the IB PYP curriculum
• Experience in teaching French as a second language to young learners
• Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and student-centred approaches
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, international environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
